  12. GlobalTrash is a trashcan-system that offers a global trashcan, undelete-
  13. ability (remembers the origin), GUI and device-specific commands (e.g.
  14. eject-support) via external AmigaDOS commands.
  15. It comes with catalogs, guides and installer-scripts in different
  16. languages and it's FREE (but a registration after 30 days is required).

  18. This is the first stable version, fixes all known bugs of the prerelease
  19. and adds a few new options (in the preferences) and some improved new
  20. features (see history below).

  26.   - One appicon for all volumes on the workbench.
  27.   - Fontsensitive and appealing GUI.
  28.   - Access to a global trashcan with the contents of all trashcan-
  29.     directories on all volumes.
  30.   - Ability to access a single trashcan-directory on a volume.
  31.   - Automatically delete files older than a specific amount of days.
  32.   - You can use the trashcan for the backups of your programms (like
  33.     GoldED, PageStream,...). You will always have access to your older
  34.     documents and you can be sure that they will be deleted if they are
  35.     too old.
  36.   - Ability to start an AmigaDOS-Command for every volume (to eject your
  37.     ZIP-Disks for example).
  38.   - Different requesters with various options for interaction.
  39.   - Usage in combination with DirectoryOpus (or other programms) possible.
  40.     The nedded external programm 'GlobalTrashClient is now included.
  41.   - Progress-bar.

  43.   - Correct processing of the same filenames in the same trashcan-
  44.     directory (no overwriting of existent files in a trashcan directory).
  45.   - Ability to restore a file in his original path with his original
  46.     filename.
  47.   - GUI shows a file-tree for directories. Ability to browse within this
  48.     tree and to process (restore, delete) files from within.
  49.   - Recognition of files which are not moved by GlobalTrash into the
  50.     trashcan directory (without the origin); for example a backup-file
  51.     from GoldED.
  52.   - Ability to restore files over multiple volumes.
  53.   - Correct processing of the iconfiles (#?.info).
